Our National Project is to hold 8 public events as well as a re-launch event at the Scottish Parliament during 2011.

Scottish Parliament: SAPC Project gains Scottish Parliament support Scottish Parliament Motion

Each public event will seek to raise awareness of practical accident prevention solutions in partnership with local organisations and to the wider community.

The grant awarded by Awards for All will enable the Council to purchase equipment and promotional material to help relaunch the Scottish Accident Prevention Council during its 80th year and raise the profile of practical types of accident prevention across the communities of Scotland.

The project will be undertaken by the volunteer members who will attend public events and develop presentations for use by members that can be delivered to community groups, accident prevention community, elected members and partner organisations .
