The role of the Executive committee is to ensure that SAPC is the natural body in Scotland which organisations involved in accident prevention will participate in order to have a stronger voice across Governments and other accident prevention practitioners.The Executive and three principle committees of the Council play a leading role in promoting and develping the work of the Council.

The Executive covers strategic direction as well as facilitating the development and enhancment of accident prevention policy in the fields of home, road and water & leisure.

2011 -12 Meeting Structure

The Executive Committee is followed after lunch by the Water & Leisure Committee

The Home Safety committee is followed followed by the Road Safety Committee after lunch
