Become a member of the SAPC
The Council is keen to expand its membership by identifying organisations with whom partnership working would extend the safety message to more people within Scotland. While this will serve to assist the SAPC in pursuing its objectives, more importantly, it helps the Council exercise an influence on a wider scale which, hopefully, will have positive benefits for Scotland as a whole.
For a nominal sum (currently £100 per annum for organisations other than local authorities and health boards) organisations would become members of the SAPC. They would receive a certificate acknowledging membership, and a quarterly newsletter advising of the Council’s activities and accident prevention issues in general. In addition, the Council would provide a link to the Organisation's websites through its own site (if desired).
Membership of SAPC would also act as a conduit for partners to feed into national organisations dealing with safety issues. With concern for home, road, and water & leisure safety, the SAPC is the only Scottish-based organisation which encompasses all the main problem areas.
If you would like to become members of the SAPC please contact the Secretary (secretary@sapc.org.uk).
